In August, St. Regis Residences Week Three of The Mercedes-Benz Bridgehampton Polo Challenge in Southampton, New York. St Regis Bahia Beach was one of the St. Regis Residences projects featured at this high-profile event.
St. Regis Butlers were on hand to serve the brand’s signature drink, the Bloody Mary, and a replica of the famous Maxfield Parrish Old King Cole mural, the original of which hangs in the famous St. Regis Hotel in New York, was displayed in the main tent. After the match, guests continued the party at W Hotels’ Hamptons Hideaway located on a private Hampton’s estate. Representing Bahía Beach Resort at the match were Federico J. Sánchez-Ortiz and his wife Claudia, Jaime Fortuño, Gladys Santana and Heidi Souffront.
The Bahía Beach sales team also hosted cocktail reception at the St. Regis New York which was attended by a selected group of professionals interested in learning more about the Resort and the St. Regis residential opportunities under development. |

As we get nearer to the November golf course opening, I want to update everyone on our progress and the latest developments:

The golf course looks incredible - we are fine-tuning it at this point, working on the details and getting the greens perfect. Today it is in better condition than any course I have seen in Puerto Rico, and it is nearing our Troon Golf standards for golf course excellence.

We have finalized our initial golf cart purchase, with the latest model of Club Car Precedent cart, including UpLink In-Dash GPS monitoring. Not only will the carts look great, but the GPS system will give detailed information on every hole and distances to various features, including bunkers, water hazzards and greens.
|
|
|
We have completed mapping of the course, and it measures from 7,014 yards at the back tees to 3,014 yards at the family tees, with options for all golf handicaps in between.
|
|
|
Our range house, the upscale snack bar is under construction and will be complete when we open the course.
We will offer a variety of food and beverage options served both from the snack bar and a roaming convenience cart on the course.

The Golf Clubhouse is under construction and we are workingtowards having this beautiful facility open in late 2008.

Beyond these, there are many projects under way to open Bahia Beach Golf Club as a world-class facility, including our practice facilities, golf course amenities, caddy and forecaddy options, and many amenities never seen in Puerto Rico. We are excited about everything that is coming together, and can’t wait to see you all teeing off on this spectacular golf course. In the next newsletter I’ll update you on our non-golf amenities. | Bahía Beach welcomes David and Marie Helen Morrow to the St. Regis Residences community as they recently became proud owners of a new estate home currently under construction. Construction is now underway for ten luxurious two-story Las Olas beachfront town homes designed by SB Architects of Miami. These spectacular residences are sited directly along the beach with stunning views of the ocean and are just a short stroll from the Bahia Beach Golf Clubhouse and Bahia Village. Residential units will be approximately 4,232 square feet in size on lots averaging 500 square meters. The units will feature three bedrooms plus a guest room, a private plunge pool, two-car enclosed garage and top of the line finishes and appliances. Construction has already begun and the units have a September 2009 delivery date, priced at approximately $4.1 million.
Also under construction and within easy walking distance of the beach, Bahía Village and the Golf Clubhouse will be 24 charming Las Ventanas Villas ranging in size from 1,680 square feet for one bedroom with den to over 3,300 square feet for ocean view penthouses. All villas feature elegant stone, tile and hardwood design elements throughout. The two buildings feature a gorgeous tropical plantation style of architecture and were designed by SB Architects. Delivery date is set for September 2009 and prices range between $1.17 million to $2.9 million for penthouses. |
