It’s official! On June 1st in the St. Regis® Hotel in New York City, BBP Partners, LLC, developers of Bahía Beach Resort & Golf Club, joined representatives of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and the honorable Aníbal Acevedo Vilá, Governor of Puerto Rico, to announce the development of the St. Regis Resort and the
St. Regis Residences at Bahía Beach, the first five-star resort community in Puerto Rico. Attendees included top magazine editors, members of the government of Puerto Rico and guests of the developers.
Slated to open during the winter of 2008-09 along two miles of pristine beach, the majestic St. Regis Resort will feature 150 luxuriously appointed guest rooms boasting spectacular views from private open terraces of the sparkling sea, our new oceanfront Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course and the mountainous El Yunque tropical rainforest.
